§ 122-3. Authorization to furnish water to customers outside city; limitation.

(a)

The city is authorized to provide water to consumers within a radius of five miles of the corporate limits of the municipality.

(b)

The distribution system of the city waterworks shall not be extended, and water will not be furnished directly or indirectly to any customer outside the corporate limits, except to serve customers situated on land subdivided and platted in accordance with all the terms and provisions of the city's subdivision ordinance.
