§ 122-32. Authority of waterworks to shut off water for repairs, improvements, extensions or other purposes.

The waterworks reserves the right at any time, without notice, to shut off water in their mains, for the purpose of making repairs, improvements, extensions or other purposes. The officers of the waterworks or their agents may stop the supply of water in cases of emergency, and shut it off for repair or extensions. Such officers shall be the judges of the time and necessity, and reasonable notice shall be given when practicable. The city shall not be liable for damages for an insufficient supply of water.
