§ 26-82. Unsafe apparatus or wires to be made safe.

The planning and development department is hereby empowered to inspect or reinspect, or have inspected or reinspected, all apparatus or wires conducting current for light, heat or power, and when conductors or apparatus are found to be unsafe to life or property, shall notify the person owning or using them to place the same in a safe and secure condition within 48 hours. Failure to make such correction shall be deemed an offense.
