§ 26-113. Required.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any journeyman electrician to engage in any electrical work without first obtaining from the board of mechanical examiners an identification card certifying that he is qualified to do the work.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any duly licensed electrician operating within the city to employ any journeyman electrician to work in the business of electrician, or the installation of connecting electrical appliances within the city who does not hold such a card showing the journeyman electrician to be qualified under this division to engage in such business.
