§ 2-1. Seal of the city.

The seal of the city shall consist of imprinting two circles, between which shall appear the words "City of Jackson," separated by two stars from the word "Mississippi," with an eagle in the center of the seal, with a shield over its breast, its left talon clutching three arrows while the right talon clutches a twig with leaves thereon. The same is hereby adopted as the official seal of the city.
