§ 122-24. Tampering with water meter.

(a)

Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person, not an employee of the city waterworks, to tamper with any municipal water meter while the water meter is connected to the city water system.

(b)

Penalty for violation of section. A violation of this section shall constitute a misdemeanor and may be punished, upon conviction, according to the provisions of section 1-10.
