§ 122-9. Specifications for service stopcocks.

All water service stopcocks shall be of the best grade of red brass and of the type known as inverted key patterns, made in a thoroughly workmanlike manner and of ample strength to withstand "water hammer" or "hydraulic shock" caused by a sudden closing of the cock.
