§ 74-4. Same—Suspension.

The chief of police shall suspend any of the police officers for misconduct or failure to perform their duty. All such suspensions shall be reported to the mayor who may reinstate the person suspended. The mayor may suspend or remove any police officer for sufficient cause, to be reported to the city council.
